1 Package of Lone Star Chile Seasoning,
1 can (14.5 oz) petite diced tomatoes
1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
2 garlic cloves, minced or crushed
1/2 onion, chopped or diced
3+ cups Texas Beer, add until desired consistency
1 to 2 pounds ground beef or turkey meat
In skillet, sauté garlic and onions for 3 to 5 minutes, add ground beef, cook until brown, drain excess grease. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, water and chili seasoning. Sir well and simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hour on low heat.
Variations: Add your favorite beans, (Texas Chili: please no beans).
Heat level 6-7, add 2 fresh chopped jalapenos
Heat level 8-10, add 1 fresh chopped habanero.
Serves 6 to 8
